The Slovak Telecom Office (TU SR) has appealed against a decision by the Bratislava District Court that led to the suspension of the country’s DTT tender earlier this month.
It argues that the court’s decision is illegal and will hold up the digitalisation process, which Slovakia aims to complete in 2012.
The controversial Bratislava District Court ruling followed protests from Telecom Corp, a transmission company that has been undertaking DTT trials in Kosice.
The TU SR announced a DTT tender for two multiplexes on August 20.
