The Belgian arm of Numericable is launching a 3,000-title VOD service. The cablenet has lined up a portfolio that includes content from Canal+, TF1, ARTE, MTV and RTL.
Numericable, which recently rebranded its Belgian operations from Coditel, has also secured content supply deals from Hollywood majors Sony, Disney, Fox and Universal, as well as European distributors Studio Canal and TF1 International.
Children’s programmes come from MTV, Zooloo Kids and Taffy, music from Arte and iConcerts, and adult content from Dorcel and Pink. Sports fans are catered for through an agreement with Ma Chaîne Sport. Each of the providers will have their own graphical user interface (GUI), consistent with the overall look and feel.
Canal, TF1 and iConcerts are all providing content in the HD format.
