UPC Nederland says its new S-VOD service Film1-on-demand is a success. Since the mid-August launch, some 150,000 requests have been made.
UPC started the new service for existing subscribers to the Film1 premium movie channels. Priced at €14.95 a month, viewers have access to five movie channels – Film 1, Film1,2, Film 1.3, Film 1+1 and Film1 Action – as well as to the VOD library.
Every month most current titles on the Film1 rotation schedule are available as part of the integrated S-VOD service.
