Denmark’s TDC says it has dropped plans to sell its 64.6% stake in the leading Hungarian alternative telco HTCC “in the light of the current period of uncertainty in financial and economic conditions.”
It adds, however, that its stake in HTCC may be increased or reduced at a future date.
HTCC, which operates under the brand name Invitel, was put up for sale by TDC three months ago.
It has over one million subscribers and launched an IPTV service named InviTV in May.
