The Russian DTH platform NTV-Plus has begun offering sports programming on an on-demand basis following a successful trial.
According to NTV-Plus, subscribers were offered the chance to watch live matches featuring Inter Milan, Werder Bremen, Atletico Madrid and Marseilles on the night of October 1/2 for R75 (€2.1).
It was well received, with 3,000 taking up the offer.
Last month NTV-Plus introduced an on-demand movie service named Kinodrom.
