Consisting of five channels including Nat Geo HD, it is being made available to its Constellation subscriber at a special discount price of R300 (€8.2) a month, and others at rates starting at R900 a month.
Earlier this week Broadband TV News reported that Akado plans to invest $200 million (€138.5 million) on pay-TV and broadband services in 2009 and to eventually increase its triple play subscriber total from 800,000 to 2 million.
