Eutelsat announces Hot Bird TV Award nominees

A total of 38 channels broadcasting in 13 different languages have been announced as nominees in Eutelsat’s annual Hot Bird TV Awards.

The names include the familiar brands of Nat Geo, BBC, France 24 and MTV alongside regional favourites including music channel Trace, Filmbox, and the Russian children’s channel TV Nanny. The channels are selected from broadcasters using Eutelsat’s network of satellites and will be presented at a gala ceremony in Venice on November 14.
