Rambler Media has launched Russia’s first free, ad funded video download site.
Known as Rambler Kinozal, it offers almost 750 hours of content and employs technology from the Israeli company Hiro-media as part of a total solution by the UK’s VoWeb.
Rambler Kinozal has broadcast agreements in place with a number of production companies including Starmedia and TNT and expects to increase its available content to 1,000 hours by the end of the year.
