UPC has added Eurosport HD to its offer in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
In the Czech Republic, the MSO now offers its subscribers a total of five channels – National Geographic HD, Voom HD, HBO HD, Filmbox HD and Eurosport HD – in the format.
Eurosport HD is being offered in UPC’s Standard package, which is automatically also in its Supreme offer, for no additional fee.
Earlier this week, UPC Czech announced the introduction of internet packages offering speeds of 10Mbps and 20Mbps.
Last month, the MSO said it had already secured 200,000 subscribers for its digital cable service.
Meanwhile in Slovakia, UPC Broadband subscribers can receive the same HD channels as their Czech counterparts, plus the recently launched STV3 HD.
