Prisa has received five bids of around €3 billion for its stake in the Spanish DTH platform Digital+.
According to an unconfirmed report in El Pais, they are from Telefónica, Vivendi, Telecinco, Ono and BSkyB. Yesterday (September 16), Prisa replied to a request from the Comisión Nacional de valores (CNMV) on the state of the sale.
The company said that it has received several indications of interest that are currently being analysed.
Digital+ had 2.08 million subscribers as of June 30 this year.
