The Czech Republic will shortly have its own version of MTV.
According to local reports, CME has secured a licence from MTVNE to operate the music channel, which will also be available in Slovakia.
CME already operates two thematic channels in the Czech Republic – Nova Cinema and the soon to be renamed Galaxie Sport.
The company, which has extensive broadcast interests in CEE, also operates a local version of MTV in Romania.
