There are three contenders for the single DTT frequency that is available in the German state of Hesse. They are Bibel TV, the evangelical broadcaster ERF and regional broadcaster RegioOnline from Hanover.
The single channel is available on the multiplex on UHF channel 64 and serves the Rhine-Main area in the state of Hesse. The state’s media authority plans to decide on who to award the licence this autumn. When the new broadcaster starts transmissions, there will be a total of 23 DTT channels available in the state.
