National Geographic HD has launched in Russia.
According to National Geographic Channels International (NGCI), it is being carried by the DTH service Platforma HD and will also become available on the Akado-Stolitsa network on October 1.
National Geographic HD is already widely available in CEE, being offered in Poland, Bulgaria, Albania, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
In Russia, it is distributed by Fox International Channels, which is part of News Corp.
