The Flemish DTH provider TV Vlaanderen has protested against a planned building decree by the city of Antwerp that will prohibit the installation of outdoor dishes on the front of buildings. According to the operator, it is sometimes mandatory to install a dish in the front because of the orbital position of the satellite.
TV Vlaanderen adds that the proposed regulation is in conflict with European law concerning the freedom of information and also contrary to Flemish regional laws.
