The Bulgarian channel Eurocom TV, which is distributed nationally via cable and satellite, has new owners.
According to local reports, it has been wholly acquired by International Fair Plovdiv (IFP) for fee thought to be in the region of BGN3 million (€1.53 million) and will be turned into a business channel promoting exhibitors at the IFP.
Eurocom TV secured the entrepreneur Grisha Ganchev as a 50% stakeholder at the beginning of this year and he had planned to transform it into a sports channel.
