The Czech channel Galaxie sport will be re-branded Nova sport on October 4.
It will also start to broadcast some programming in 16:9 from next month and to offer HD content in 2009.
Galaxie sport was launched in 2002 and acquired by CME’s TV Nova from PPF (Cyprus) Ltd three years later for a reported fee of CZK118.7 million.
