The Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat will finally become a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) next Monday (September 8).
Speaking to the local press, Cyfrowy Polsat president Dominik Libicki said the start up costs of the project amounted to around PLN33 million (€9.8 million) and that it will require around one million subscribers to reach a positive EBITDA.
He added that Cyfrowy Polsat is also looking into the possibility of becoming a Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE), providing virtual mobile services to other parties.
