The Lithuanian incumbent telco TEO LT has introduced a network PVR service for customers of its Interactive GALA TV IPTV operation.
According to the telco, My TV Recordings already allows for the viewing of the channels MTV and 5 Kanalas at convenient times for a period of up to seven days, without extra equipment and free of charge.
It will in due course be expanded to more channels and is expected to become as popular as a virtual VOD service, which was introduced last year and is currently used by a third of Interactive GALA TV’s 30,000+ subscribers.
Earlier this year, TEO LT also launched a DTT service. Known as Digital GALA TV, it currently has over 11,000 subscribers.
