Russia’s Comstar has started to take over the management of the Stream TV Group.
The move follows an agreement reached by the boards of directors of Comstar and Sistema Mass Media (SMM) in July this year.
Stream TV Group claimed a 17% share of the Russian pay-TV market at the end of 2007.
Around a third of the group’s network has already been upgraded to offer triple play services.
