The Polish DTH platform n has outlined its strategy for the next few months.
Speaking at a press conference, the service’s president Maciej Sojka said he expects the number of subscribers to grow from the current 335,000 to 520,000 by the end of this year.
Reaching the half million mark will see n attain a positive EBITDA, and its overall earnings for this year are expected to be in the region of PLN270 million (€80.7 million).
Sojka also said that n will start carrying MTVNHD on September 15. Furthermore, it has reached five-year agreements with Dreamworks and Paramount.
Sojka added that a number of new interactive features would be introduced for n subscribers. They include being able to record programmes on their decoders by accessing the n.pl site.
