A local station named Tallinn TV serving the Estonian capital will cost EEK80 million (€5.1 million) to set up and run in its first year of operation.
The figure was apparently provided by the city authorities at a sitting earlier this week and has since been reported in the local press.
Approval to launch Tallinn TV, which is due to make its debut by the beginning of 2011 at the latest, was given last month.
