The Romanian DTH platform Dolce ended Q2 with 528,000 subscribers, or more than double the number 12 months earlier.
At the same time the telco, which is backed by Greece’s OTE and has yet to launch an IPTV service, had 505,000 ADSL lines, triple the number 12 months earlier.
OTE itself ended Q2 with 892,000 broadband subscribers. The company, which has interests in several Balkan countries and is backed by Deutsche Telekom, posted revenues of €1,590.5 million in Q2, an increase of 2.5% on the corresponding period in 2007.
