The Spanish DTT network is growing fast and consumers are ready to receive the new services. In the province of Catalonia, almost half the population (49.7%) now watches digital terrestrial television.
The city of Madrid comes in second place with a 48.8% penetration, followed by the Canary Islands with 44.0%. The national average now stands at 34.8%. All figures are as of June 30, 2008.
