The Latvian MSO Izzi has seen a change of ownership.
According to local reports, the operator, which was at one stage backed by TeliaSonera, has been acquired from Tella Capital by Contaq Latvian Cable, a company whose owner Contaq Latvian Cable Holding is registered in Luxembourg, for an undisclosed fee.
Izzi is a quadruple play company and provides services to 112,000 homes. Of these, 21,000 opt for its broadband internet offer.
Izzi’s turnover in the first half of 2008 amounted to LVL4.32 million (€6.23 million), or 147% more than a year earlier.
