The Slovak Telecom Office (TU SR) has issued a tender for two DTT multiplexes.
The first of the multiplexes will be allocated to the country’s leading TV stations and expected to cover at least 45% of the population within a year of its launch.
Slovakia has opted for MPEG-4 compression and is expected to have three multiplexes up and running by its ASO date at the end of December 2012.
