Data produced by the Russian Association of Communication Agencies (RACA) shows that the country’s TV ad market rose by 26.3% year-on-year in H1 2008 to reach around R65.8-66 billion (€1.82-1.83 billion).
The internet was the fastest growing sector at 45% (to R2.9 billion), while so spend for the print sector was up by 12.1% (to R27.7 -27.9 billion).
Total ad spend in H1 amounted to R126-127 billion, a 20.4% increase year-on-year.
