Wolfgang Breuer has been appointed the chief executive of technology and operations at the Romanian incumbent telco Romtelecom.
According to a local report, Breuer, who was formerly the VP of Deutsche Telekom for Central Europe and CEO of T-Mobile Croatia, took up the post at the beginning of this month.
OTE-backed Romtelecom is a leading player in Romania’s TV industry, with its DTH platform Dolce now claiming more than 400,000 subscribers.
