Miss World is launching a broadband TV channel and interactive website, it was announced today, in reverse order.
Despite losing its appeal in the UK market the Miss World final still has a global audience of some 2.2 billion people, second only to the World Cup and Olympic Games.
The web-based channel makes it possible for visitors to watch all the rounds of the contest, which will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, on December 13.
The site is produced by Internet Television Productions Ltd.
