The Czech incumbent telco Telefónica O2 is to significantly improve its internet offer.
According to a local report, its wholesale 8Mbps package will be upgraded to 16Mbps in September.
Telefónica O2 operates O2 TV, an IPTV service that claimed to have almost 100,000 subscribers as of the end of Q2. Telekom Austria, which operates under the brand name Volny in the Czech Republic and also has an IPTV service, has already upgraded its internet offer to 16Mbps.
