The German cable operator PrimaCom AG has announced it will sell two level 4 cablenets in the cities of Aachen and Wiesbaden to Unitymedia for just over €49 million.
In a statement, PrimaCom chairman Markus Schmid said the company wants to concentrate its business in its main service areas of the company as it has an isolated infrastructure. Both Aachen and Wiesbaden are in the states of Nordrhine-Westphalia and Hesse respectively, which are mainly served by Unitymedia.
The transaction will be finalised after the German authorities have approved the sale.
