NBC Universal Global Networks has launched timeshifted versions of Diva TV and Hallmark Channel. Significantly the broadcaster has secured capacity on both Sky and Virgin Media.
Martin Heaton Cooper, MD, UK channels, NBC Universal Global Networks, said the launch represented a significant step in the company’s expansion plans. “The importance of a timeshifted offering for viewers can’t be underestimated and these launches further cement our commitment to our fans.”
Hallmark Channel’s output includes House, Law & Order and Damages. Diva has the rights to long running US big hair soap The Bold & The Beautiful; Oprah Winfrey and is the latest UK broadcaster to try out The Late Show with David Letterman.
