The Bulgarian MSO Eurocom has secured permission to acquire Insight Com, a Sofia-based ISP and cable operator.
According to a local report, the competition authority deemed that Insight Com was only a minor player in the capital city. Eurocom was due to merge with CableTel earlier this year to create what would be by far the largest cable operator in Bulgaria.
However, that proposed deal is still under investigation.
