Ziggo has selected Teleste to provide it with a new compact node platform as the Dutch cablenet upgrades its network in a bid to anticipate future growth.
The order is the first to be received from Ziggo since it was formed from the merger of @Home/Essent Cablecom, Casema and Multicable to create the largest cablenet in the Netherlands.
Teleste will supply a solution based on its AC800 platform that includes what the manufacturer describes as “sophisticated management facilities”. The nodes will be delivered during 2008 and the first quarter of 2009.
