Bosnia and Herzegovina’s public broadcaster BHRT owes more than BAM5 million (€2.5 million) for membership of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and for broadcasting via satellite.
According to BHRT general manager, Mehmed Agovic, the BAM3 million of debt for EBU membership was accumulated in previous years, while current obligations are being regularly settled.
The debt for the lease of a satellite channel used to broadcast BHRT’s service abroad now exceeds BAM 2 million.
