Humax, one of the larger set-top box manufacturers, will make its debut into the IP streaming and home wireless networking markets. The company will unveil an innovative IP streaming set-top box, designed in conjunction with icube, a Digital Media Adapter (DMA) vendor and broadcasting solution provider. Humax will also launch a new home wireless networking product.
Humax is showcasing its new range of HD Ready integrated digital TVs (IDTVs). The 32in and 37in LCD panels combine with twin digital terrestrial TV tuners.
Both models will be available with Humax’s powerful personal video recorder (PVR) technology built-in. Features will include a 160GB hard disk drive; live pause and instant rewind functionality; a fast, eight-day electronic programme guide; digital text and interactive services; and Dolby Digital output.
Also on stand B54 will be Humax’s full range of set-top boxes, PVRs, and high definition receivers, including the latest digital recorders for the UK market: the PVR-9300T for Freeview+ and the new HD digital recorder for Freesat.
