UPC Nederland will this week launches its S-VOD service for subscribers to the Film1 premium movie channel. Viewers will be able to request a title from about 100 movies that are within the current Film1 window.
UPC originally announced the start of the service in February of last year (see Broadband TV News passim), when an earlier start was foreseen.
All current Film1 subscribers will have access to the service, which will offer most of the titles on current rotation on the premium channel.
