The German cable companies Unitymedia and KabelBW are both offering ‘free’ Bundesliga football. Unitymedia customers receive one season of live Bundesliga matches when they buy the combined premium bouquets Digital TV Plus and Digital TV Extra with 39 channels for €12.90 monthly. Alternatively, new triple play customers who buy the basic package of digital TV, telephony and broadband access for €30 a month also get the football thrown in for free.
At KabelBW, people who subscribe to the new “men’s package” before the end of August, at €9.90 a month, will also receive one season of Bundesliga games for free.
The new bouquet consists of Eurosport 2, Sportdigital TV, Rush, MTV Entertainment, MTV Two, MTV Music, Poker Channel, Games TV, e.music, Karaoke TV, Blue Hustler and the adult comedy channel Alpenglühen.
