The France Telecom-backed Polish incumbent telco TPSA ended Q2 with 54,000 IPTV subscribers, or 10.2% more than three months earlier.
Its Livebox, which allows for the reception of value added services such as IPTV, VOD, VoIP, triple play and new pay-TV packages, meanwhile had 441,000 subscribers at the end of Q2, and the total number of broadband customers, including bit stream access (BSA), stood at 2,328,000.
TPSA is the only significant provider of IPTV in Poland, with services yet to take of as they have in such neighbouring countries as the Russia, the Czech Republic and indeed Slovakia.
