The total of fixed line broadband internet subscribers in Hungary stood at 1.447 million as of the end of June, according to data produced by the country’s National Communications Authority (NHH).
Of these 779,000 were ADSL and 668,000 cable, up from 685,000 and 351,000 respectively 12 months earlier.
The cable figure was based on Hungary’s four leading operators UPC, T-Kábel, Fibernet and Digi, which have a combined market share of around 70%.
