Voom HD Networks has announced a new carriage deal for Rush, a 24/7 linear channel devoted to extreme sports and adrenaline-filled action to launch on German cable operator Kabel BW. The channel will be part of the new pay package to be introduced by the operator on August 1st.
“Germany is undoubtedly an important market for us,” said Glenn Oakley, Voom HD Networks’ senior VP, Global Operations and Business Development, in a prepared statement. “We are delighted at the opportunity to work with a digital pioneer like Kabel BW in bringing this region Rush’s unmatched lineup of extreme sports programming.”
