UPC has expanded its presence in Slovakia. According to the company, it has acquired GAAD Presov and Tatra Temex Cable, both of which are based in Presov, the country’s third largest city.
The two operators have a combined total of 12,000 subscribers, and UPC expects to eventually offer them its UPC Digital service.
This includes 80 TV channels, four of which are in HD, and internet access at speeds of up to 20Mbps.
