German public broadcaster ARD will again present an HD showcase during the consumer electronics show IFA 2008 in Berlin from August 29 until September 3. Six days of programming will be available free-to-air on a dedicated Astra transponder.
Programming will include the German premiere of six episodes of Sir David Attenborough’s Planet Earth series. The channel will offer a total of 120 hours of programming including documentaries, music and movies.
