Verimatrix has announced a new Series C funding round led by the US investment bank Goldman Sachs. The aggressive conditional access firm said that all of its Series B investors Cipio Partners and Mission Ventures had participated in the financing.
Described as the largest round to date, the amount of new funding was not disclosed, though the two previous rounds raised $23 million (€14.45m) for the nine-year old company.
The new capital will fund further expansion of the business including the acceleration of Verimatrix’s so-called 3-Dimensional Content Security Solutions.
