The largest Dutch cable operator Ziggo has said it now reaches one million digital homes and is claiming to be the number one digital provider in the country. The figures means around 30% of all 3.3 million homes served is now digital.
Ziggo also said it now serves 1.4 million broadband customers and 750,000 cable telephony homes.
The number two provider of digital TV in The Netherlands is Canal Satelliet Digitaal with around 750,000 homes, followed by UPC (560,000 as at March 31, though more recent figures are expected soon) and 550,000 for KPN.
