Arris has warned that its second quarter revenues are likely to be in a range between $278 and $280 million, at the bottom end of its previous guidance for the quarter.
In a statement Bob Stanzione, Arris chairman & CEO said the guidance was based on a maturing demand for EMTAs, plant extension, and installation equipment. “On the positive side, our CMTS demand continued to be strong and we expect to report improved gross margins as compared to the first quarter. He said strong order input, particularly for the company’s next generation DOCSIS 3.0 equipment, pointed to a significant improvement from the third quarter.
Arris is scheduled to announce its second quarter results on July 30, 2008, when further guidance for the remainder of the year will be given.
