The German free-to-air HD broadcaster Anixe HD is to show HD programming from the Summer Olympics in Beijing, the company said. Starting on August 9, the channel will broadcast a total of 100 hours. Programmes will start every day at 7.45pm.
Anixe HD has secured the broadcast rights to a number of Olympic sports, mountain biking, horse riding, sheet-shoot, triathlon, sailing, surfing and marathon. SES-Astra will help to promote and market the HD broadcasts.
