UPC Romania is set to merge its cable operations with those of three other companies.
According to local reports, the companies in question are Cablevision of Romania (CVR), Electron M. Bit Telecom and Sebmar.
The reports also indicate that UPC Romania posted losses of RON230.18 million (€65.3 million) in 2007, or 107.8% more than in the previous year.
Its revenues in 2007 meanwhile amounted to €173.3 million, or 16.2% more than in 2006.
