Dutch cablenet Ziggo has chosen the Amdocs Operations Support System as the company prepares to integrate the Casema and Multikabel networks into a unified platform for resource and inventory management across all its business units.
“The Amdocs OSS platform has always been an important part of Ziggo’s OSS landscape,” said Paul Hendriks, CTO, Ziggo in a prepared statement. “After the consolidation of the Casema and Multikabel networks, we were faced with multiple legacy systems to manage 3.3 million households, 1.4 million broadband internet customers, 900,000 digital TV customers and 750,000 telephony subscribers. By consolidating to Amdocs OSS we hope to better serve our customers by automating business processes that will generate a consistent experience.”
According to the company, the Amdocs CES is designed to give an optimised customer experience, regardless of location or device.
