Euro 1080 is to expand its HD offering on the Belgian market with two more channels under the EXQI brand. From next month, the company will add Exqi Sport and Exqi Culture to the general interest Exqi channel. Earlier, the broadcaster, which is part of the Alfacam facilities group, said it has won the right to show live football games in the second Belgian league.
Initially, Dutch language versions will be available, to be followed by French language versions later this year. Negotiations are under way with cable and IPTV operators in Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels.
