The Russian DTH platform NTV-Plus says it has started carrying a new channel named Comedy TV.
A 24-hour service distributed by Eutelsat W4 at 36 degrees East, it sources programming from Comedy Club and Nasha Rosiya, operated by the broadcaster TNT, and is being made available in the basic package to subscribers living in the West of the country.
NTV-Plus is the longest established DTH platform in CEE, having made its debut in 1996. Last year it became the first company in Russia to offer its viewers HD channels.
